The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Elvio Lizer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagüé. Resident Evil lV's Elvio Lizer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Resident Evil lV from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Hegoi took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Lizer. Elvio Lizer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 79th minute, Domingo Laurgain fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elvio Lizer, passed just outside the right post. Alfredo Emenon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Flavio Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jagüé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Francis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Eron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Elvio Lizer made a huge save. Victorio Pelagius charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Pelagius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Jagüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Pelagius to maneuver through the defense.
