After 46 minutes of play, Tiro Federal Lapachito's Rene Lehior made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gogo Honesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Abastas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee gave Tortugas Ninjas FC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. Gogo Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Elizardo in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Romeo Abastas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Lehior charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Lehior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tortugas Ninjas FC booed when Tiro Federal Lapachito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tortugas Ninjas FC's Alfredo dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Alfredo dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Raulo having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
