La Masia Pergamino's Juan Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Abastas in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, La Masia Pergamino's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Abastas came free, but Juan Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Leobardo was a little too slow when Romeo Abastas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Abastas in the 28th minute of play forced La Masia Pergamino's goalkeeper Juan Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Romeo Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Nisio's late challenge caught a La Masia Pergamino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Nisio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tortugas Ninjas FC's Benigno Nisio got a free kick in the 35th minute. Juan Leobardo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Alfredo dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Ladislao Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Leopoldo Proença made a precise shot to the right of Gogo Honesto. Tortugas Ninjas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of La Masia Pergamino booed when Tortugas Ninjas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Gelacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Eyague kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hugo Leoiar came free in the 98th minute and tried to tip the ball over Gogo Honesto, but to the joy of Tortugas Ninjas FC's supporters the ball went over. La Masia Pergamino were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
