Spectators: 7147 (Terracing: 5361, Seating: 1644, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horacio Opilano started the match with the kick off. Cipriano Enaut scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Guerau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute of the match, Nemesio Eguntsenti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hilario Tonete saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Opilano in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Guerau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Hyperion's zone, Horacio Opilano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Guerau came out of the goal and Horacio Opilano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Tonete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Eguntsenti in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Hyperion got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Ipar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Hanot got free with Hilario Tonete in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 played minutes Deportivo Barracas got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Lixandro. Cipriano Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Guerau having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Hyperion's Nemesio Eguntsenti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilario Tonete. Hilario Tonete yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Horacio Opilano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Guerau was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Hanot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Hilario Tonete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 played minutes Deportivo Barracas got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Lizer. Hilario Tonete was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sergio Peter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Eguntsenti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Santo Ordono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute Nemesio Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Enaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Lázaro Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bruno Lixandro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Barracas's protests and gave Bruno Lixandro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Barracas getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bruno Lixandro hit a great ball. When Ceferino Abel fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Barracas's protests and gave Ceferino Abel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Barracas's Ceferino Abel got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Clodoveo Hanot came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Hyperion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Hanot couldn't finish the play. Horacio Opilano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázaro Guerau having to make a save. After 79 played minutes Hyperion got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Eguntsenti. Lázaro Guerau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Opilano's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Horacio Opilano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Opilano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Horacio Opilano took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Lázaro Guerau to make any attempt to save it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hyperion were victorious despite being under pressure from Deportivo Barracas for much of the match.
