In the 10thth minute of the game Horacio Opilano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosas AFC's Jaime Joanes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Pastor Gaztea came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Rosas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Gaztea couldn't finish the play. When Casimiro Aballe came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Rosas AFC fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Horacio Opilano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Joanes was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Deportivo Barracas's Rodolfo Lizer got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Deportivo Barracas defense, Casimiro Aballe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Tonete. The Deportivo Barracas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Tonete should have stopped the shot. Pastor Gaztea took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Tonete. Hilario Tonete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jaime Joanes made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Horacio Opilano sent off a good shot on target. Pastor Gaztea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Tonete having to make a save. The Deportivo Barracas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rosas AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Estevez was the one to do the kick off. Cipriano Enaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Tonete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Gudesteo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Barracas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosas AFC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Deportivo Barracas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rosas AFC:s goal. Jaime Joanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Enaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd play minute Pastor Gaztea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hilario Tonete. 1-4. Pastor Gaztea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Tonete having to interfere. Casimiro Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Rosas AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Barracas throughout the match.
