The referee ignored Nueva Chicago's protests and gave Sergio Chesus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Chesus to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club made a substitution. After 89 minutes of play, Racing Club's Valentin Calixto made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Ladio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Nueva Chicago fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Racing Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
