After a rather tough play, club atletico xeneizes's Haroldo Hernando got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Jesus Lizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Montay got free with Albano Florinio in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Lawrence in the 93rd minute of play forced club atletico xeneizes's goalkeeper Cláudio Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
