Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Tony Finsberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Alfonso Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abasto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Celino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Ilixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Ilixo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Celino in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Graneros's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Lawrence came free, but Isidro Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Graneros's goalkeeper Isidro Ilixo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abasto AFC's Albano Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Finsberg in the 21st minute of play. Albano Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Finsberg in the 21st minute of play. Silvestre Berriotxoa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Esteban Iban hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Graneros's Luís Fábio Nóbrega couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Abasto AFC. Albano Florinio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Tome, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Finsberg in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Florinio saved Abasto AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Tome in the 35th minute of play forced Abasto AFC's goalkeeper Albano Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tony Finsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Vladimiro Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Lawrence to make the kick off. If Ermegildo Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albano Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Finsberg in the 58th minute of play. Albano Florinio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvestre Berriotxoa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 64 minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Abasto AFC's goalkeeper Albano Florinio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Tome. 71 minutes into the game, Silvestre Berriotxoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albano Florinio. Silvestre Berriotxoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Osvaldo Tome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Albano Florinio made a huge save. Silvestre Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Albano Florinio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Lawrence recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Abasto AFC's Anier Jakue got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Graneros walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
