The supporters of BFC booed when Ananá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Veto got free with Jose Baladi in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Fabricio Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. BFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Cerilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Lluques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, BFC's Jose Baladi got control of the ball when Leo Veto tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Baladi in the 9th minute of play forced BFC's goalkeeper Jose Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Matias Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. BFC:s Jose Baladi showed great skill when he stopped Gregorio Fresco:s penalty. 4-1 came in the 70th minute when Gregorio Fresco all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Jose Baladi. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Baladi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Baladi was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Erubiel Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Erubiel Rey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ananá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Veto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BFC's Jose Baladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Veto in the 92nd minute of play. Hector Lluques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Americo Oxarra's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute Arnoldo Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Baladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the BFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ananá.
