Bernardo Miro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Tohias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. When Mario Gonzales fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pumahuasi's protests and gave Mario Gonzales a yellow card for diving instead. Mateo Burni placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Melchor Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Aresti was a little too slow when Melchor Cilio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 28th minute, Melchor Cilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Bernardo Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Romeo Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pumahuasi's Melchor Cilio in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ManUtd's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Hilario Cefero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Herensuge in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gualterio Aresti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Danel made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ManUtd's zone, Gustavo Herensuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Aresti came out of the goal and Gustavo Herensuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gustavo Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Aresti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Herensuge in the 61st minute of the match. When Pumahuasi's Melchor Cilio in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ManUtd's goalie prevented a goal. Romeo Tohias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Danel in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Pumahuasi getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jacobo Selmo hit a great ball. Jacinto Quilino kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, ManUtd's Mateo Burni broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Melchor Cilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ManUtd's Gualterio Aresti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Pumahuasi booed when ManUtd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Cilio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gualterio Aresti came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Pumahuasi's Melchor Cilio. But to his dismay, Melchor Cilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bernardo Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Cilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pumahuasi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
