Independiente F.C's Eriberto Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Cordarryl in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Independiente F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonathan Gaskon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eriberto Franco made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Diaba Di Natale sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Eriberto Franco managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when ESCALADA FC's Venancio Cordarryl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th minute, Artur Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Gaskon charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Gaskon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute Venancio Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente F.C's goalkeeper Eriberto Franco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes of play, ESCALADA FC's Jonathan Gaskon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Franco was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Venancio Cordarryl put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eriberto Franco. The crowd rose to their feet as Artur Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eriberto Franco. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Salvatore during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ESCALADA FC booed when Independiente F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Cordarryl to make the kick off. Isidro Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, ESCALADA FC's Venancio Cordarryl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Franco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venancio Cordarryl took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Franco. Eriberto Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 69th minute, Venancio Cordarryl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESCALADA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Martin Orlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Torrico having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Venancio Cordarryl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Franco was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. If Jonathan Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Venancio Cordarryl came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the ESCALADA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. If Jonathan Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Independiente F.C's Eriberto Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Cordarryl in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, ESCALADA FC's Ovidio Bernabel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Artur Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Independiente F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Cordarryl came free, but Eriberto Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Gaskon took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Franco. Eriberto Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ESCALADA FC had played much better football throughout.
