Ballesteros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Guilabertus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 86th minute, Ballesteros's Eustacio Cebrian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Domingo Peio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Guilabertus's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The bostero players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
