After 15 minutes, Martin Quinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pretorianos FC and the C.A Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Quinton. Jurand Zuraw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aurelio Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Claus charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Claus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, C.A Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Claus to maneuver through the defense. Pretorianos FC's Felix Nesto got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Tabby in the 29th minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Dario Dino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Nesto in the 33rd minute of play forced C.A Independiente's goalkeeper Aurelio Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jurand Zuraw in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Dino saved Pretorianos FC from getting behind. Dario Dino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Odilon. C.A Independiente's Aaron Quinton got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eulalio Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dario Dino made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, C.A Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Nesto came free, but Aurelio Gitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Artizar made a kick off. Felix Artizar might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Gitano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Artizar ran back to his position shaking his head. C.A Independiente's Aurelio Gitano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save C.A Independiente from getting a goal against them. Felix Nesto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Aurelio Gitano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. C.A Independiente's Toninho Queiroz was substituted for Albino Tabby. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurand Zuraw in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Dino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, C.A Independiente's goalkeeper Aurelio Gitano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Nesto. In the 74th minute of the match, Felix Artizar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurelio Gitano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Angelo Claus hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Nesto got free with Aurelio Gitano in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dario Dino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurand Zuraw's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When C.A Independiente's Jurand Zuraw in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pretorianos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th match minute, C.A Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Claus to maneuver through the defense. Felix Nesto struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Aurelio Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pretorianos FC. Felix Artizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The C.A Independiente manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pretorianos FC to win.
