Spectators: 6636 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Siro Sandalio kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Cebrian got free with Aurelio Gitano in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Peio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Zuraw, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Jurand Zuraw notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ballesteros's Domingo Peio. Domingo Peio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jurand Zuraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, C.A Independiente's Aurelio Gitano got control of the ball when Eustacio Cebrian tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A Independiente's Aaron Quinton got a free kick in the 24th minute. C.A Independiente's Aurelio Gitano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save C.A Independiente from getting a goal against them. If Eustacio Cebrian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aaron Quinton came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the C.A Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Quinton couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes C.A Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Claus. If Albino Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurand Zuraw in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Peio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jurand Zuraw stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Aaron Quinton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domingo Peio, 0-2. Domingo Peio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Urtungo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Cebrian in the 63rd minute of play. A hard shot 65 in the game by Jurand Zuraw from a close distance when the talented Domingo Peio managed to make a qualified save. Ballesteros's players were relieved. Domingo Peio made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Aaron Quinton sent off a good shot on target. Domingo Peio came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Independiente's Aaron Quinton. But to his dismay, Aaron Quinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 84 minutes into the game, Dionisio Evis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballesteros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Independiente the free kick. After 84 played minutes Ballesteros got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Evis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Udalaitz in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Peio saved Ballesteros from getting behind. Tiburcio Udalaitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Domingo Peio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Udalaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingo Peio. Ballesteros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Udalaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. C.A Independiente's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
