In the 33rd minute Reynaldo Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Medina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Goi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jeronimo Goi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Mora in the 82nd minute of play. If Gerardo Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Nesor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Goi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Clodoveo Mitxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Goi came out of the goal and Clodoveo Mitxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo-Enrique Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jeronimo Goi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boquerón FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
