In the 13thth minute of the game Honorio Xabier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but river plate's Fabricio Rami was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabricio Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Alonso in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Felipe Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Alonso scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Rami, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valentin Sendoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino George having to make a save. In the 91st minute Felipe Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Rami stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Alonso's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Honorio Xabier struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Fabricio Rami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Pichiñanco. Felipe Alonso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Fabricio Rami 94 minutes into the match. The river plate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. Pichiñanco were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
