Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Santa Coloma SCF's Benicio Emesto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Niceto Quintin fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Coloma SCF's protests and gave Niceto Quintin a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Santa Coloma SCF got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Quintin. Blanco Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blanco Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Benicio Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benicio Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Coloma SCF's zone, Blanco Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Azeari came out of the goal and Blanco Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Blanco Rubio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Coloma SCF's Benicio Azeari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benicio Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blanco Rubio in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Blanco Rubio made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Azeari. Santa Coloma SCF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jonathan Charro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 28 minutes on the clock, Rogelio Ixidor commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Jonathan Charro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Tabor in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Santa Coloma SCF's Niceto Quintin got a free kick in the 38th minute. Benicio Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blanco Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Jonathan Charro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

La Cortada booed when Santa Coloma SCF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Vimaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santa Coloma SCF's Benicio Azeari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Santa Coloma SCF from getting a goal against them. Benicio Azeari stood somewhat misplaced when Blanco Rubio came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 64 minute. When C. A. With a left leg Benicio Azeari saved Santa Coloma SCF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blanco Rubio in the 84th minute of play forced Santa Coloma SCF's goalkeeper Benicio Azeari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Blanco Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. La Cortada's supporters rose to their feet, but Blanco Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Azeari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Gil in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Azeari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over C. A. La Cortada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Santa Coloma SCF throughout the match.
