Spectators: 7183 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filiberto Breogan started the match with the kick off. Isidro Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Marciano Libertad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Libertad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Palban in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Defensores de Ameghino's Amador Lope seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amador Lope the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Defensores de Ameghino protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amador Lope had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Francisc Grecea had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Reynardo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Jaime Reynardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Francisc Grecea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Samuel Palban sped through Garabato's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marciano Libertad. Francisc Grecea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Rito in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garabato's goalkeeper Marciano Libertad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Defensores de Ameghino got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Diagur. Garabato's Jaime Reynardo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Defensores de Ameghino. 30 minutes into the game, Jonas Rito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Francisc Grecea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marciano Libertad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hermengildo Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Samuel Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Ameghino's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Palban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Libertad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Palban in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Libertad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Samuel Palban made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Defensores de Ameghino's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Txatxu came free, but Francisc Grecea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55th play minutes Samuel Palban shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Marciano Libertad and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Samuel Palban put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Marciano Libertad. Marciano Libertad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Palban's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ulises Txatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisc Grecea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Samuel Palban might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Libertad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Palban ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardino Rocio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Marciano Libertad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Ameghino. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Samuel Palban got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Defensores de Ameghino's Samuel Palban got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Garabato's goalkeeper Marciano Libertad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Palban. Garabato's Marciano Libertad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Garabato from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Defensores de Ameghino could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garabato throughout the match.
