The tension between the Deportivo Cristal and the Eureska F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Eureska F.C. booed when Deportivo Cristal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Elia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Bartuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jeremias Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Hondo charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Hondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Eureska F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Hondo. In the 15th minute Carlos Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Bartuelo in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Carlos Bartuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Gomez. Eureska F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Bartuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jeremias Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Bartuelo in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cristal's Carlos Bartuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Gomez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Froilan Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo de Lara having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo de Lara made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Serafin Jakue sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Cristal's Silvano Elia got a free kick in the 34th minute. A long shot from Apolo Urtats in the 36th minute of play was well struck, but Carlos Eduardo de Lara made a really good save at the right post. Froilan Maureo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Carlos Bartuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jeremias Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Gomez having to interfere. Jeremias Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Deportivo Cristal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Carlos Bartuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeremias Gomez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonas Mikelats. After a defensive mix-up in Eureska F.C.'s zone, Carlos Bartuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Gomez came out of the goal and Carlos Bartuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Meireles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Gomez having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Bartuelo got free with Jeremias Gomez in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Macerio in the 62nd minute of play forced Deportivo Cristal's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Carlos Bartuelo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Eureska F.C.'s Jeremias Gomez. Jeremias Gomez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Bartuelo in the 69th minute of play forced Eureska F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeremias Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Douglas Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jeremias Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremias Gomez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Brais's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Carlos Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Cristal's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Bartuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Deportivo Cristal fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Deportivo Cristal's Carlos Bartuelo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 93 minutes of play, Deportivo Cristal's Carlos Bartuelo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Gomez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Deportivo Cristal booed when Eureska F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Cristal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
