Thanks to some nice moves Dante Mergildo could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Albano Osoro however easily saved by the left post. In the 26th minute Flavio Constancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Fausto Marz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Albano Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Matei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Martins's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Manuel Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merced's Albano Matei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Merced players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guascan were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Constancio made a kick off. Gaspar Min tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Albano Osoro. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guascan's zone, Flavio Constancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Osoro came out of the goal and Flavio Constancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Guascan defense, Flavio Constancio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Osoro. The Guascan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Osoro should have stopped the shot. The Guascan fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Guascan's Manuel Martins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pascual Segio hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With his leg Albano Matei managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Guascan's Manuel Martins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jairo Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Guascan getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gaspar Min hit a great ball. Merced's Bruno Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascual Segio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Manuel Martins struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Albano Matei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guascan. Jairo Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Albano Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Merced's Albano Matei got control of the ball when Manuel Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Albano Matei made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Guascan's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Mergildo came free, but Albano Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guascan were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
