Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgilio Shepherd started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Virgilio Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Domingos Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eskil Martinsson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rüsselkäfer F.C's protests and gave Eskil Martinsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Rüsselkäfer F.C got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Martinsson. In the 14th minute, Flavio Constancio made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Vincente. Rüsselkäfer F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Merced's Albano Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Shepherd in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match, Pascual Segio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaime Vincente saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Virgilio Shepherd put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Albano Matei. Albano Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Martinsson in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rüsselkäfer F.C's Domingos Bittor got a free kick in the 39th minute. Eskil Martinsson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Albano Matei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rüsselkäfer F.C. 47 minutes into the match, Virgilio Shepherd notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Merced's Albano Matei. Albano Matei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Constancio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Constancio in the 53rd minute of play forced Rüsselkäfer F.C's goalkeeper Jaime Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Matei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eskil Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 minutes of play, Rüsselkäfer F.C's Virgilio Shepherd made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albano Matei was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Flavio Constancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Constancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Vincente having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Lucas Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskil Martinsson got free with Albano Matei in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Segio during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Merced got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Segio. In the 80th minute, Eskil Martinsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Albano Matei, passed just outside the right post. In the 87th minute, Guido Jerano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albano Matei. The goal made the score 1-4. Albano Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Bittor, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
