The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Tellier's zone, Ciro Gaeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Abadia came out of the goal and Ciro Gaeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Bonifacio Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Uncescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Amadeo Harkaitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isaac Abadia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Los Deboraombligos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Reyes came free, but Emanuel Uncescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Deboraombligos's Emanuel Uncescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Eneto in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Tellier getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Primitivo Leoiar hit a great ball. The long shot by Aureliano Calvino in the 24th minute really tested Isaac Abadia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Emanuel Uncescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Daniel Reyes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tellier's protests and gave Daniel Reyes a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tellier's Leopoldo Eneto got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes, Ciro Gaeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Deboraombligos and the Tellier players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Deboraombligos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ciro Gaeta hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Tellier's Leopoldo Eneto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Uncescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tellier reached it. Ciro Gaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Isaac Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Deboraombligos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Primitivo Leoiar was slow to take the kick. During this time Tellier's players had a chance to rest. Emanuel Uncescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Deboraombligos's Emanuel Uncescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Duarte in the 60th minute of play. Daniel Reyes hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ciro Gaeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Ermano struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Isaac Abadia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Deboraombligos. If Ciro Gaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Deboraombligos's Emanuel Uncescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Los Deboraombligos from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Los Deboraombligos defense, Jacobo Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Uncescu. The Los Deboraombligos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Uncescu should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Reyes got free with Emanuel Uncescu in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Reyess short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Emanuel Uncescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Daniel Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tellier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Reyes couldn't finish the play. Daniel Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Uncescu having to interfere. When Severiano Rodas fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Deboraombligos's protests and gave Severiano Rodas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Deboraombligos getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Severiano Rodas hit a great ball. When Tomás Izotz fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tellier's protests and gave Tomás Izotz a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Tellier got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Izotz. The Tellier supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tellier would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
