After a rather tough play, Matadores FC's Santos Carlomagno got a free kick in the 14th minute. The long shot by Faustino Donio in the 15th minute really tested Feliciano Gizon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lia in the 17th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Gizon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Zeledon Rocendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matadores FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capricornio F.C. the free kick. In the 21st minute, Generoso Perpinya made a precise shot to the right of Feliciano Gizon. Matadores FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 24th minute, Tadeo Gomar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matadores FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tadeo Gomar took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Vito. Feliciano Gizon made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ruben Asteri sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Matadores FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Matadores FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Amado Chorche hit a great ball. Timoteo Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Tadeo Gomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute Ruben Asteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Gizon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Gomar in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Vito saved Capricornio F.C. from getting behind. Domingos Vito was a little too slow when Amado Chorche got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 2-5. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Gomar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Vito was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 87th match minute, Capricornio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Selatse to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Matadores FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Capricornio F.C. throughout the match.
