Dario Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Guillermo Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Antigüo Brinkmann FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Benicio Cesaro hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Jimeno Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Monico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Hulberto in the 43rd minute of play forced Potrerillo's goalkeeper Raimundo Sein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Jimeno Luix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Cresencio to make the kick off. The Antigüo Brinkmann FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
