Camilo Transito started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Osvaldo Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fantasmas F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Txerran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th match minute, Fantasmas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Naldo to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Asturias's Camilo Transito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Matro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Alejo Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Fantasmas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Seco came free, but Ramon Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asturias's Tiburcio Sazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Txerran in the 20th minute of play. Ramon Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Sazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Txerran in the 24th minute of the match. If Prudencio Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fantasmas F.C.'s Ramon Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Transito in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Fantasmas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Bernaldo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Txerran in the 41st minute of play forced Asturias's goalkeeper Tiburcio Sazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Sazon having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

58 minutes into the match, Asturias's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Txerran came free, but Tiburcio Sazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Camilo Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asturias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Transito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Seco took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Matro. Ramon Matro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Reynaldo Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asturias's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Matro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asturias made a substitution. Tomas Ugaitz replaced Ramiro Fernandez. Ramon Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Transito got free with Ramon Matro in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the game, Camilo Transito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramon Matro. Camilo Transito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Asturias's Marcelo Tancredo was substituted for Camilo Transito. 88 minutes into the match, Tomas Ugaitz notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Fantasmas F.C.'s Ramon Matro. Ramon Matro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 played minutes Asturias got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Luix.
