In the 32nd minute, Clodoveo Baristo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Simon Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hernando FC's Americo Oihenarte got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Severo Feliz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Polo skillfully saved the ball. Feliberto Ursino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Romero in the 37th minute of the match. Nicanor Nofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute of the match Severo Feliz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Polo skillfully saved the ball. Clodoveo Baristo scored 2-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Ursino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Baristo made a kick off. Simon Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Ursino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. If Simon Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Justin lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 63rd minute of the match, Nicanor Nofre sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Feliberto Ursino showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Hernando FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Toli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Ursino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernando FC made a substitution. Baldomiro Sadurni replaced Clodoveo Baristo.
