Bonifacio Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Pere having to interfere. Romulo Abascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Justin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Verón's Sergio Joey was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Bilulori's Alejo Bieito in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verón's goalie prevented a goal. Victoriano Justin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejo Bieito was the one to do the kick off. Urbano Pere made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Bonifacio Abarca sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the game, Verón's Vítor Fernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Justin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. In the 65th minute, Vítor Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Sergio Joey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sergio Joey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Justin was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Demetrio Tundo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Vítor Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Victoriano Justin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Pere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Abarca in the 85th minute. Abel Mazuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urbano Pere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Basilio Astudillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Bonifacio Abarca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
