Spectators: 3900 (Terracing: 3200, Seating: 700, VIP seats: 0) Acambuco's Axel Asserlind started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. You Nan Bing scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Ariando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 played minutes RIVER PLATE DE HUANCHILLA got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Ishmael. Axel Asserlind received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Oro came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Asserlind slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. Nicolas Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mauricio Ariando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RIVER PLATE DE HUANCHILLA's Simon Oro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save RIVER PLATE DE HUANCHILLA from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes RIVER PLATE DE HUANCHILLA got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Hernandez. Åke Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 32 minutes RIVER PLATE DE HUANCHILLA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnulfo Elia who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Acambuco's Arnulfo Elia to fire away a dangerous shot which Simon Oro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Simon Oro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sepo Uusen in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Cosme Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliciano Sergi took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Ariando. Mauricio Ariando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 42 minutes into the game, Nicolas Duardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mauricio Ariando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Oro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Asserlind's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Duardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of RIVER PLATE DE HUANCHILLA booed when Acambuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Acambuco defense, Nicolas Duardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Ariando. The Acambuco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Ariando should have stopped the shot. After 59 played minutes Acambuco got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Ubelteso. In the 66th minute, Sepo Uusen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Nicolas Duardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Oro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Asserlind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th match minute, RIVER PLATE DE HUANCHILLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by You Nan Bing to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RIVER PLATE DE HUANCHILLA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
