TRIPEROS's Angel Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Santxol in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, TRIPEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Benitez to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Jaime Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orkatz Leza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, TRIPEROS's Martin Pietro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orkatz Leza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Dionisio Ferrando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orkatz Leza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The referee ignored TRIPEROS's protests and gave Herminio Benitez a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Marques was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, TRIPEROS's Herminio Benitez got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Martin Pietro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orkatz Leza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Pietro went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fermin Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orkatz Leza having to make a save. Orkatz Leza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Luzaide in the 68th minute of play. Angel Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Laurentzi in the 69th minute of the match. During the 72nd minute of the match Herminio Benitez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Herminio Benitez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Herminio Benitez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. TRIPEROS made a substitution. Fabian Fonso replaced Vladimiro Ledesma. After 74 played minutes TRIPEROS got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Benitez. In the 75th minute, Manuel Arotza fired a really elegant long shot, but Angel Peli threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Fermin Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orkatz Leza having to interfere. TRIPEROS were furious when Baltasar Ipar was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 79 played minutes TRIPEROS got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Ipar. In the 84th minute, Dionisio Ferrando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TRIPEROS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Dionisio Ferrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Faranaz's zone, Fermin Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orkatz Leza came out of the goal and Fermin Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Orkatz Leza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
