Daniel Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Laureano Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Omar Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Lucas Bertol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Rencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Lucas Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilela's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Bertol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Daniel Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Laureano Rencio. Barón Rojo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Bertol in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Rencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Barón Rojo's Gualterio Jerardo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Arnaldo Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Rencio having to interfere. Gaudencio Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Atarratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Figueiredo scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laureano Rencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Bertol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Benedicto Francesco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laureano Rencio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barón Rojo's Laureano Rencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Barón Rojo from getting a goal against them. Gaudencio Piarres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Vilela's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Atarratze came free, but Gaudencio Piarres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Murilo Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilela and the Barón Rojo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Murilo Andrade hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Jaunzuria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Barón Rojo's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Bertol came free, but Laureano Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barón Rojo's zone, Daniel Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Rencio came out of the goal and Daniel Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilela's Gaudencio Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Atarratze in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Jaunzuria in the 89th minute of play forced Vilela's goalkeeper Gaudencio Piarres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Rencio came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Vilela's Daniel Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Daniel Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 95 minutes, Aristides Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barón Rojo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Jaunzuria in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over Vilela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barón Rojo throughout the match.
