Spectators: 7074 (Terracing: 5307, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Humberto Abeitia started the match with the kick off. Joaquin Corderall didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 7th minute, SAN ANTONIO F.C's Reynaldo Chano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Reynaldo Chano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SAN ANTONIO F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reynaldo Chano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SAN ANTONIO F.C! Jacobo Harkaitz went to the wrong direction when Virgilio Oto was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Plaza Roja 1917 booed when SAN ANTONIO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. SAN ANTONIO F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plaza Roja 1917 the free kick. After a rather tough play, SAN ANTONIO F.C's Alfredo Napier got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jacobo Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Viqueira in the 17th minute of the match. Joaquin Corderall came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN ANTONIO F.C's Baldomero Gitano. But to his dismay, Baldomero Gitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Joaquin Corderall made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Baldomero Gitano sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Dario Lehoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Plaza Roja 1917's zone, Alfredo Napier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Corderall came out of the goal and Alfredo Napier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SAN ANTONIO F.C's Jacobo Harkaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Viqueira in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Baldomero Gitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN ANTONIO F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pietro Viqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Gitano took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Corderall. Joaquin Corderall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 56 minutes, Ovidio Venceslas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plaza Roja 1917 and the SAN ANTONIO F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Plaza Roja 1917 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Venceslas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Baldomero Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN ANTONIO F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Gitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Baldomero Gitano came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the SAN ANTONIO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Gitano couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Xabat charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Xabat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, SAN ANTONIO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Remicio to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Plaza Roja 1917 got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Herauso. SAN ANTONIO F.C's Baldomero Gitano got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
