A very good chance. 6 minutes in the game, Walmyr Paes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Laureano Rencio having to interfere. Eleuterio Mosen hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Cerrito FC's Santo Abar got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Barón Rojo's goalkeeper Laureano Rencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Calisto. Honorato Ursino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Rencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Calisto in the 14th minute. Barón Rojo's Aristides Atarratze got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Rencio having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match Hermengildo Jusepe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Reyes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Laureano Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Cerrito FC's Walmyr Paes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laureano Rencio. Laureano Rencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmyr Paes in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Rencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Honorato Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honorato Ursino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Rencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Barón Rojo defense, Santo Abar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Rencio. The Barón Rojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Rencio should have stopped the shot. If Honorato Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cerrito FC's Honorato Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Ursino in the 44th minute of play forced Barón Rojo's goalkeeper Laureano Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Abar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Walmyr Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Aquiles Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Atarratze in the 53rd minute of the match. Walmyr Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Rencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Santo Abar took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Rencio. Gualterio Jerardo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Cerrito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Abar to maneuver through the defense. Barón Rojo's Laureano Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Calisto in the 75th minute of play. Cerrito FC's Cipriano Cugat got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cerrito FC booed when Barón Rojo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Paes in the 79th minute of play. Honorato Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Rencio having to interfere. Laureano Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes Barón Rojo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cipriano Cugat who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cipriano Cugat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Laureano Rencio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 88 minutes, Hagbart Thylgård mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerrito FC and the Barón Rojo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cerrito FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hagbart Thylgård hit a great ball. Laureano Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Abar in the 90th minute of play. Honorato Ursino struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Laureano Rencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrito FC. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cerrito FC fully deserved thier win.
