After a rather tough play, Ham's Cayetano Rencio got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Cadwgawn Adrain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 48th minute of the match Elpidio Perpinya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Roderigo skillfully saved the ball.

Zacarias Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cadwgawn Adrain's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The Banfield y Perón FC. fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Banfield y Perón FC.'s Cadwgawn Adrain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ham's Hugo Sasoin got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cadwgawn Adrain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Roderigo came out of the goal and Cadwgawn Adrain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Banfield y Perón FC.'s Siro Raymon was substituted for Cadwgawn Adrain. There was no doubt that Banfield y Perón FC. were the better team. Banfield y Perón FC.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
