Damian Vargas started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Jacinto Valery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sébila AFC's Daniel Fernendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristo Osorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Emilio Aresti made a huge save. Emilio Aresti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Lidon in the 16th minute of the match. CF Huanchilla Quilmes 's Silvano Handi got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Valery in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Fernendo saved Sébila AFC from getting behind. In the 27th minute Leandro Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Galtero in the 30th minute of the match. Cristo Osorio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Leandro Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Cristo Osorio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Emilio Aresti to make any attempt to save it. If Ambrosio Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Valery made a kick off. The supporters of Sébila AFC booed when CF Huanchilla Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sébila AFC's Raul Orixe got a free kick in the 56th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Anibal Shantala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sébila AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Huanchilla Quilmes the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Sébila AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Shantala to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Sébila AFC's Cristo Osorio got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Jacinto Valery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes, Moises Txurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Huanchilla Quilmes and the Sébila AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Moises Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes, Sébila AFC's Efrain Lauro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emilio Aresti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sébila AFC reached it. Emilio Aresti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
