Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) Anibal Ostots started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Fix in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Montrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boca Juniors's Ismael Txema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Fertus in the 6th minute of play. Melquiades Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Fix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulino Montrell having to make a save. Boca Juniors's Melquiades Iratzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Melquiades Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Melquiades Iratzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Iratzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Montrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulino Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Fix in the 24th minute of play. When Arturo Felo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MELIME's protests and gave Arturo Felo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Hechter to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes MELIME got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal George. After a rather tough play, MELIME's Florencio Luken got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jaroslav Jirka's late challenge caught a MELIME's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Fix to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Rodolfo Fix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MELIME's Paulino Montrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to MELIME getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Erubiel Innocenzio hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Silvano Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, MELIME's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Fix came free, but Paulino Montrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Ostots in the 61st minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Ismael Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Paulino Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Melquiades Iratzeder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulino Montrell. The goal made the score 0-2. Erubiel Innocenzio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Melquiades Iratzeder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Montrell. Melquiades Iratzeder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. With his leg Paulino Montrell managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Boca Juniors's Rodolfo Fix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute Melquiades Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Montrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rodolfo Fix came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Fix couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Iratzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Paulino Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boca Juniors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
