In the 5thth minute of the game Froilan Pelagius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Barrio's Dalmacio Horado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Tegua FC booed when El Barrio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Horado having to interfere. Simon Crescencio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After the first half Tegua FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Froilan Pelagius made a kick off. El Barrio's Dalmacio Horado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save El Barrio from getting a goal against them. Simon Crescencio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dalmacio Horado came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Crescencio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the El Barrio defense, Simon Crescencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Horado. The El Barrio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Horado should have stopped the shot. Clemente Mergildo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Dalmacio Horado. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-5 in the 61st minute. Froilan Pelagius received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dalmacio Horado came out and tried to block the shot, but Froilan Pelagius slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 67th minute. Tegua FC made a substitution. Gualterio Cugat replaced Virgilio Otsoa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Crescencio in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Horado saved El Barrio from getting behind.
