With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Drake in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Horado saved El Barrio from getting behind. The Patronato FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Patronato FC's Markus Drake looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nestor Ipar managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Barrio's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Ipar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Etxahun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nestor Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute Leon Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Siro Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Ipar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Vassenius's late challenge caught a El Barrio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Vassenius helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Barrio booed when Patronato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Vassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Patronato FC's Cristian Pierres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Horado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Natanael Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Horado. El Barrio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natanael Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, El Barrio's Nestor Ipar got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Timoteo Gabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Pierres in the 61st minute of play forced El Barrio's goalkeeper Dalmacio Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Patronato FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Barrio.
