In a very dangerous position, a player in Alamos del Pirata fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FURIA ROJA a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eliseo Cordarius, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alamos del Pirata's Atilano Gartzea. 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, Alamos del Pirata's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Millan came free, but Atilano Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Nofre couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes of play, Alamos del Pirata's Gavino Demesio made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primitivo Itzaina was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
