In the 5th minute Geronimo Bizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Eusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Dejando la Piel FC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Fero. The Algarrobitos fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Algarrobitos's Manuel Leão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22ndth minute of the game Geronimo Bizi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dejando la Piel FC's Fernando Eusko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Bizi in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Algarrobitos's Geronimo Bizi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Eusko was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Epifanio Jerardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damazy Nikodemski. Algarrobitos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Jerardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Epifanio Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Dejando la Piel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Jerardo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Bizi in the 35th minute of play forced Dejando la Piel FC's goalkeeper Fernando Eusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Herminio Orixe fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dejando la Piel FC's protests and gave Herminio Orixe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Dejando la Piel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Orixe to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Algarrobitos's Gogo Aureo in action when he in the 38th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Geronimo Bizi scored 1-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Eusko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geronimo Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Eusko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Leão went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After the first half Algarrobitos were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tomás Herauso made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Leão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Fernando Eusko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomás Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Nikodemski having to interfere. Manuel Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Algarrobitos's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Jerardo came free, but Damazy Nikodemski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manuel Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Eusko having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Epifanio Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dejando la Piel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Dejando la Piel FC's goalkeeper Fernando Eusko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Leão. Dejando la Piel FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Geronimo Bizi 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Algarrobitos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
