Jorge Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Sanchez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Andrade FC's zone, Jorge Canor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Sanchez came out of the goal and Jorge Canor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Fernando Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Libertad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Perugorría AFC's Amadeo Medina got a free kick in the 16th minute. Nestor Libertad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Rocio in the 23rd minute of play. Herminio Urki's late challenge caught a Andrade FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Urki helped the player get up and apologised. Rodolfo Grabiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Perugorría AFC's Gilberto Feo got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Jorge Canor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvio Sanchez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Urki went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Victorino Peter fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perugorría AFC's protests and gave Victorino Peter a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Andrade FC booed when Perugorría AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Perugorría AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Rocio came free, but Nestor Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Perugorría AFC's Jorge Canor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Sanchez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Perugorría AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Canor was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Andrade FC booed when Perugorría AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Perugorría AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Abascal came free, but Nestor Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Jorge Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perugorría AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Canor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Amadeo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Elias Iztal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Perugorría AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Abascal came free, but Nestor Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perugorría AFC's Nestor Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Rocio in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Andrade FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Urki came free, but Silvio Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Andrade FC's goalkeeper Silvio Sanchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jorge Canor came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Perugorría AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Canor couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Andrade FC's Aaron Rojelio got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Amadeo Medina fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perugorría AFC's protests and gave Amadeo Medina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Andrade FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Canor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Libertad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Rojelio in the 87th minute of the match. Nestor Libertad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Herminio Urki notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Andrade FC's Silvio Sanchez. Silvio Sanchez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aaron Rojelio was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The Andrade FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Perugorría AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
