The supporters of Garza booed when Mónaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Urtats didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Garza defense, Natalio Fero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Isias. In the 34th minute Natalio Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
