Spectators: 1640 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Deportivo Comegorda defense, Melchor Teyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rikki Lolby. The Deportivo Comegorda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rikki Lolby should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente F.C's goalkeeper Felippe Colazo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ander Kivaste charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ander Kivaste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Deportivo Comegorda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ander Kivaste to maneuver through the defense. Rikki Lolby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Melchor Teyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Teyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikki Lolby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes, Deportivo Comegorda's Ander Kivaste shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felippe Colazo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Comegorda reached it. Benigno Felipo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Deportivo Comegorda's Gualterio Loiola in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melchor Teyo made a kick off. Deportivo Comegorda's Rikki Lolby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Teyo in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Comegorda's zone, Aaron Vachon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikki Lolby came out of the goal and Aaron Vachon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rikki Lolby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Teyo's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Rikki Lolby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Teyo in the 69th minute of play. Aaron Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ander Kivaste hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th play minute Aaron Vachon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rikki Lolby. 0-2. If Aaron Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportivo Comegorda's Rikki Lolby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Vachon in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Aaron Vachon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Melchor Teyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rikki Lolby was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Independiente F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
