In the 14th minute, Aurelio Koldobika got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Aurelio Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Koldobika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicasio Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Koldobika in the 28th minute of the match. Pastor Ascencio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Przemyslaw Malewicki. Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Felix Lluis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapala the free kick. After taking down the ball on Zapala's corner Joel Palban fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Przemyslaw Malewicki quite easily take care of the ball. Aurelio Koldobika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Candido Tartalo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Zapala's Nicasio Michael got control of the ball when Felix Lluis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Jeronimo Darien made a precise shot to the right of Przemyslaw Malewicki. Club Atletico River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zapala fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico River Plate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
