A hard shot 16 in the game by Anastasio Gines from a close distance when the talented Elivélton Paraibano managed to make a qualified save. Colon de santa fe's players were relieved. Jeremias Quintana charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Quintana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Jeremias Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Henry might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elivélton Paraibano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Henry ran back to his position shaking his head. If Adriana Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Gines in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elivélton Paraibano saved Colon de santa fe from getting behind. The cevollitas FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when cevollitas FC's Anastasio Gines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 40 minutes Colon de santa fe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Montae who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on cevollitas FC's corner Jonathan Montae fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elivélton Paraibano quite easily take care of the ball. When cevollitas FC's Anastasio Gines in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colon de santa fe's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Adriana Gilen in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Gines was the one to do the kick off. Joel Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colon de santa fe's Elivélton Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Gines in the 54th minute of play. Elivélton Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Colon de santa fe getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Sixto Quinito hit a great ball. cevollitas FC's Joel Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Anastasio Gines notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Colon de santa fe's Elivélton Paraibano. Elivélton Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elivélton Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriana Gilen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Adriana Gilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Anastasio Gines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sixto Quinito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. cevollitas FC fully deserved thier win.
