Isaac Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Bernardo Urtzi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ceballos's Roman Ubelteso. Roman Ubelteso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 10 minutes, Jeremias Cordeara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceballos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Cordeara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ceballos's zone, Genaro Kemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Ubelteso came out of the goal and Genaro Kemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Leoiar scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac Udalaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Cordeara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Udalaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Sixto Leoiar took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Udalaitz. Isaac Udalaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Roman Ubelteso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Kemen in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Bernardo Urtzi notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Ceballos's Roman Ubelteso. Roman Ubelteso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd play minute Bernardo Urtzi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roman Ubelteso. 3-3. Roman Ubelteso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Ceballos's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Bartoli came free, but Roman Ubelteso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Cordeara in the 40th minute of play forced Saenz Futbol Club's goalkeeper Isaac Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Urtzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roman Ubelteso came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Urtzi slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 41st minute. Ceballos's Roman Ubelteso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Bartoli in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Ceballos got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Totakoxe. The supporters of Saenz Futbol Club booed when Ceballos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes, Göran Björling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saenz Futbol Club and the Ceballos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Saenz Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Björling to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Saenz Futbol Club's Emiliano Mero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emiliano Mero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Saenz Futbol Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emiliano Mero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 61st minute, one of Saenz Futbol Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saenz Futbol Club. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Ceballos's Teodosio Quentin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Isaac Udalaitz. Isaac Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Bartoli kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ceballos's Roman Ubelteso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Bartoli in the 82nd minute of play. If Genaro Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saenz Futbol Club's Isaac Udalaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Saenz Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Genaro Kemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saenz Futbol Club's Isaac Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Leoiar in the 89th minute of play. Baldomero Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Roman Ubelteso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomero Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Cordeara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Isaac Udalaitz made a huge save. Isaac Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
