Añelo's Florian Spanjaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Gaueko in the 22nd minute of play. Amadeo Beremundo's late challenge caught a Victoria AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Beremundo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Victoria AFC booed when Añelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Beremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Victoria AFC a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Severiano Pelayo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Añelo's Florian Spanjaard. 2-2. Mauro Ramond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Israel Venceslas made a huge save. Israel Venceslas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Israel Venceslas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Gaueko to make the kick off. Norberto Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Spanjaard having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Mauro Ramond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Venceslas. Victoria AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Ramond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The audience was convinced that Mauro Ramond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Israel Venceslas was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Añelo's Amadeo Beremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Añelo's Mauro Ramond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Israel Venceslas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeo Beremundo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Israel Venceslas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Añelo.
