The goalkeeper, Xurdin Oromi, was totally fooled by Quiroga's Filomeno Vincent, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Gavino Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Andes FC's Xurdin Oromi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Los Andes FC from getting a goal against them. Teodoro Lehoi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Mauro Rojelio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ariel Eli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Quiroga's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Baldomero Atauri scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xurdin Oromi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomás Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Roderigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ambrosio Mannuel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Quiroga's Lázaro Charro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xurdin Oromi. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

52 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Magdaleno came free, but Xurdin Oromi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xurdin Oromi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 81st minute Lázaro Charro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xurdin Oromi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quiroga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
