Geronimo Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ulises Fernendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Horacio Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Fernendo having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Defensores del Rey's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Barbosa came free, but Ulises Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Heroes F.C's goalkeeper Orest Artemenko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Locaio. In the 25th minute, Maximo Omero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Geronimo Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orest Artemenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Oihan in the 31st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Defensores del Rey's Orest Artemenko threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliciano Oihan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Defensores del Rey getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Maximo Omero hit a great ball. Ulises Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Eriberto Bikendi came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Heroes F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Bikendi couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Christian Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Defensores del Rey's Ulises Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Barbosa in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Horacio Macias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Fernendo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Horacio Macias made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Leoncio Herrero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulises Fernendo. Leoncio Herrero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After 56 played minutes Heroes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Faron. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Oihan in the 59th minute of play forced Heroes F.C's goalkeeper Orest Artemenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Defensores del Rey's Ulises Fernendo got control of the ball when Horacio Macias tried to sneak it across the goal line.
