The Los Monobleckeros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şanver Köklem should have stopped the shot. Şanver Köklem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Huly in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Los Monobleckeros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Salamon to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Simbol got a freekick which was hit by Federico Cresencio. After some careless play in the Los Monobleckeros defense, Dudu Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şanver Köklem. The Los Monobleckeros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şanver Köklem should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Simbol booed when Los Monobleckeros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dudu Veiga took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şanver Köklem. Şanver Köklem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 25 minutes into the match, Los Monobleckeros's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Huly came free, but Şanver Köklem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu Veiga scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şanver Köklem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Iratze in the 34th minute of play forced Los Monobleckeros's goalkeeper Şanver Köklem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Jerico charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Jerico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Santiago Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Iratze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şanver Köklem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Miguel Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Los Monobleckeros's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Huly came free, but Şanver Köklem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şanver Köklem having to interfere. Los Monobleckeros's Şanver Köklem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Huly in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Lázaro Oso kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Ivo Púchy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Librado in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Los Monobleckeros's goalkeeper Şanver Köklem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Huly. With an all-out effort, Simbol's Şanver Köklem threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dudu Veiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 58 minutes into the match, Los Monobleckeros's goalkeeper Şanver Köklem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Huly. Şanver Köklem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
