The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Abadie got free with Adrian Muno in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Adrian Muno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Inocencio Abadie hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Londres's Adrian Muno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Baso in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Londres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Claus to maneuver through the defense. Blas Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Cordarrel having to interfere. Adan Claus struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Placido Cordarrel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Londres. In the 41st minute Paul Baso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Londres's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Baso came free, but Adrian Muno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Inocencio Abadie made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Muno. Londres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Baso was the one to do the kick off. Inocencio Abadie ran back to his position shaking his head. Paul Baso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Talleres's zone, Adan Claus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Cordarrel came out of the goal and Adan Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Berbiz charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Berbiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Londres's Segundo Berbiz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Adrian Muno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Abadie's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes Londres got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Celipe. Inocencio Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Gerardo Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Inocencio Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Inocencio Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Baso in the 89th minute of play forced Londres's goalkeeper Adrian Muno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Talleres booed when Londres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position.
